V.I.C. Pet Care has been devoted to providing Tampa Bay with professional in-home pet care since 2010. We’re your go to source for all your pet care needs! We cover it all from pet sitting, overnight care, dog walking, pet taxi, pet nurses available 24/7, nail trims, non-anesthesia dentals and more. We continue to be involved with our community and can connect you with the best groomers, veterinarians and pet friendly places in your area as well. How V.I.C. Pet Care Started

At just 12 years old, Vicki was working at her local veterinary hospital in her hometown of Cooper City, FL, and by age 13, she received her first paycheck as a veterinary technician. Whether it was working at a wildlife rehab or as a zookeeper, she knew that a career focused on the wellbeing of animals was her calling. After graduating from Clemson University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a focus on Pre-Vet, Vicki continued her work as a veterinary technician. While working at a local animal hospital, she noticed that clients were constantly asking for pet sitting and help administering medication to their pets at home. She realized there was a need for in-home pet care and with that idea in mind, V.I.C Pet Care, Inc. was born in July of 2010. Using a play-on-words for her nickname (Vic), V.I.C stands for Very Important Critters. She began the company with a focus on in-home medical services, including anesthesia-free dental cleanings, insulin injections, post-op care, ear cleanings, and nail trims, but quickly expanded to offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking and overnight care. V.I.C. even began a pet taxi service, where we’ll drive your pets to and from vet appointments, groomer visits, etc.

Although our clients mostly consist of dogs and cats, V.I.C. is always happy to help out with any pet. Including Vicki, a few of their pet sitters were zookeepers in the past, so they’re completely comfortable with all animals. Like we always say, “We care for all your pets from tails to scales!” V.I.C. Pet Care wouldn’t be where they are today without such amazing clients and the best pet care team in Tampa Bay!!
